he doesn’t target
a man
not with
a profile
a status
like sports’ star
or a Burberry suited businessman
in a city laneway
after dark
from behind −
with a coward punch,
he goes indoors
where it is quieter
the environment
more to his liking
and he slugs it out
using falls
and doorknobs
to cover her inadequacies
