am i a machine?
by Suman Mondal
May 3, 2026 | Poetry | Startled, am i a machine?!
if i’m clueless how uncertain
the last goodbye waving hands
on 12.44am when samsung digital
averts my eyes to seduce and beguile
rhe brainrot scrolling endless till 2.44am.
hands lie straight on center
sensations blur
blurry sensations
fleeting pleasures
tiptoeing culpable notions,
endless till 3.55am.
hands lie straight to ai box,
did she have a crush?
i am not a witness
classic checklist:
“the eye contact
the proximity
the light touch
the investigation
the after party.”
endless till 8.10am
how to sleep in 10 seconds?
here’s some tips:
“headache
dying
machine”
i’m not machine
or am i?

I am a machine right?
Watching the clock like after sleeping for only a few minutes at a time can jolt your heartrate!
Oh yes
