Bigger than life

The children have made
a life-size puppet
of their grandfather.
Every Saturday
at dinner time
they sit it at the table
and bring it to life
by pulling its strings.
The children say
that in that way
don’t need to go
to the nursing home
on Sunday
to play with him.
